"HOW DO THEY DO IT?"

The Hov Pod will be documented on Channel 5 (UK TV) on January 15th 2008 at 7.30pm. We had great fun filming although it was a very cold day, we were lucky to have some winter's sun. The presenter Robert Lewellyn stars in Red Drawf as Kryten and presents Scrap Heap Challenge, a really nice bloke.

National Geographic TV Documentary about Hovercraft

October 10th we appeared in a National Geographic TV Special documentary about hovercraft. The image shows filming on our private airstrip to demonstrate the fact that hovercraft can fly over birds eggs without breaking any. Try that with any other vehicle!

Channel 4 - The New Paul O'Grady Show

We were recently invited to bring the Hov Pod to star in The Paul O’Grady Show Channel 4 (UK). 

The TV Producer wanted millionaire toys to demonstrate live, so well known presenter Paul O’Grady asked whether he could ride to the studio door chauffeured by Peter Ward Hov Pod’s MD. (Smartest we’ve seen Pete in quite a while, make-up, lights, roll them !)

 Millionaire Manor (National Lottery)

Contestants chose Hov Pod as most desirable aquatic toy.

The Hov Pod appeared on UK National Prime Time TV in the BBC show announcing the National Lottery Results - watched by millions of aspiring millionaires. Contestants take part in a feature show entitled Millionaire Manor. The winners move into a luxury mansion where they lead the life of a millionaire in a country house estate set in beautiful grounds complete with gym, games room, outside spa pool

and bar. On March 4th 2006, the TV producers wanted some special toys for contestants to chose as most desirable, and expensive. The winning team chose the Hov Pod preferring it over the top of the range Yamaha WaveRunner and Viper JetBoat.  Actually, the Hov Pod is comparable in price to the WaveRunner and was priced high with all the options, to suit the TV game show format. Charity man crosses the River Mersey in Liverpool

A 6ft 9in tall charity fundraiser has become the first man to walk across the River Mersey - with his head sticking out above the water. Graham Boanas, 43, from Hull, took just over an hour to walk along mud and sandbanks and through a channel of water about 5ft deep at low tide. On hand, as safety boat, see the Hov Pod in action.
